PAL at Darwin

PAL's maiden flight to Darwin commences yesterday as PAL's Manila-Perth-Manila service (via Darwin) starts today at four times weekly while the Manila-Brisbane-Manila service (via Darwin) is thrice weekly.

This is the first time PAL is flying to Darwin and Perth, while it is its third time to mount flights to Brisbane. PAL operated the Manila-Brisbane route from 1982 to 1998, and re-opened briefly from 2009 to 2010.

PAL had its inaugural flight to Sydney on October 6, 1965; while its service to Melbourne started on September 9, 1971
