  1. Any references for the 'Davao-Caticlan' route? PAL's timetable only shows Tagbilaran and Cagayan de Oro will be added from Davao.

    1. They are plan routes of the Q400s from Zamboanga hub which isn't publish yet. Probably to keep 5J in check as ZAM is the next battleground for them. You should be seeing them soon as the 12 planes arrive in the Philippines. Right now, PAL are fielding it in Cebu and Clark. Most of the new routes are based in Clark. PAL will only have 5 Q400 this year, all of it replacement of the old fleet.

  7. PAL introduces new flights from Clark beginning December 1 to the following domestic points:
    Additional Clark route:
    From December 1
    1. LEGASPI
    2. MASBATE
    3. CALBAYOG
    4. CATARMAN
    from December 15:
    5. BACOLOD
    6. TAGBILARAN
    From December 16

Note that Cagayan de Oro is loaded last from the original plan when they were supposed to be introduced in August. These manifestations only showed that nothing is cast in stone as to route planning until the are actually launched.

    1. PAL intends to grow Davao hub in 2018 as it plans to fly Tacloban, Bacolod, Iloilo, Puerto Princesa and Dumaguete, possibly Q400s.

Also in the planning works now are PAL flights from Davao to Butuan, Surigao, and Dipolog, most probably via Q300 in addition to the routes originally posted.

All are new routes for the airline.

The airline will receive 5 new generation Q400s in 2018, and two more in 2019.
