Kudos to our Canadian's eh, how bout here in the US of A?
ReplyDeleteWay to go PAL!
ReplyDeleteHope mr bautista could tie up with an american airline too.
My bet, hawaiian :)
WS codeshare to YYZ!? Assume its YVR-YYZ. I wonder if a sign of....PR pulling out of YYZ???
ReplyDeleteAs far as Airline Route is concerned, Vancouver – Toronto will be operated by WestJet effective 15 MAR 15 and this will be suggesting that PR is pulling out of YYZ.
DeleteThere is NO WAY Philippine Airlines is pulling out of YYZ because its a huge Filipino Community in Canada!
DeleteI think PR won't pull out of YYZ..codeshare with WS is to augment flights to n from YVR
DeletePR is not pulling YYZ. The West Jet flight are compliments of existing PAL flights which are allowed only 4 times a week to Toronto. The end result would have PAL flying daily to YYZ with three of those flights provided by West Jet towards YVR.
DeleteI am wondering why codes shares of philippine airlines with ANA with it domestic routes in Japan is not posted on Philippine airline's website, same thing with Malaysia Airlines, they are code shoring MNL-KL route but it is not available at PAL's site.
DeleteI think now, they can utilise the 77W for the MNL-YVR-JFK leg.
ReplyDelete77W will still be used for YYZ and ex-IB A340 to JFK unfortunately
DeleteAmerican Airlines is the best for code sharing with PAL.
ReplyDeleteI'm want to see AA flying to Manila soon.
ReplyDeleteOnly two US airlines are allowed to fly into the country, Delta and United. PR did have interline agreement with AA. Sadly the latter can't fly here.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't just an interline agreement. They had a code share agreement with AA in the late 90's that never took off due to the Asian Financial Crisis. Look up Docket # DOT-OST-1997-2633 on regulations.gov. It will also answer why the code share with AA was allowed even though it wasn't a designated airline in the US-Philippine bilateral.
