President Rodrigo R. Duterte unveiled the Ozamiz Airport Modernization Project in Barangay Labo, Ozamiz City in Misamis Occidental yesterday. The modernization project will entail ₱300 of lot acquisitions and another ₱922-million for the construction of a new passenger terminal building, new aircraft parking apron in accordance with international standards, and taxiways for a more efficient operation that will transform the airport to international standards.  Airport development plan which was designed in 2013 will be funded by General Appropriation (GAA) fund through 2030 to include the next set of navigational facilities. Ozamiz Airport Development Project is the first project to be funded and implemented by the Duterte Administration. Airport project will commence construction beginning 2020. |
I think, to be completed on 2020-21, this was bidded already last Nov. 2017 together with virac and catbalogan airport...
ReplyDeleteThere is no vertical project (ie. building) on OZC from 2015-2019. All are horizontal airside, ie. runway improvements etc.
