CEB Grows Davao, Zamboanga Hub

Low cost carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) discloses its third of the fourth domestic expansion plans in 2017 growing further Cebu, Davao, and Zamboanga hub with the introduction of new flights and re-introduction of suspended flights through its subsidiary Cebgo.

The airline route expansion starts on July 26, 2017, adding Tacloban and Dumaguete to its Davao hub and Cotabato will be added to Zamboanga hub together with the re-introduction of Cagayan de Oro flight which was suspended in 2015. Masbate will also be added to its Cebu hub as part of its growing domestic network. The new routes will be serviced by a fleet of ATR72-600 aircraft.

Cebgo earlier connected Cotabato and Coron to its Cebu hub in May 15, while Clark hub also saw destination to Caticlan and Busuanga added to its hub on the same date, part of the second expansion plans.

The carrier also saw four new routes in its first expansion this year: Manila-Masbate; Manila and Tablas; Cagayan de Oro and Tagbilaran; and Cagayan de Oro to Bacolod.

Cebgo is adding 11 ATR 72-600 aircraft to its fleet beginning 2017 with 5 frames already delivered. It also operates eight ATR 72-500 aircraft.
