Siquijor Airport New Terminal Rises

The Transport Department (DOTr) has awarded the construction of 39.3 million New Passenger Terminal Building (PTB) spanning 656 sqm. for Siquijor Airport slated for completion by 4th quarter of 2018.


The Terminal is expected to hold 120 passengers per hour for Q400s and ATR72-600 flight services. It is currently being serviced by a 9 seater plane to Cebu.

Also under construction is the power house building and vehicle parking area capable of handling 80 cars at any given time.

Siquijor Airport is a community airport that has a 1.2km x 30 meter concrete runway.

  7. Byahe sa Manila to Siquijor manghinaot ko nga naa unta di kay gamiton ra ning airport sa mga corruption nga namunuan kron..Hoping nga ang ilang giingon nga bangon Isla alang sa kalamboan matuman nila ayha mahuman ilang termino..

  10. Well I've been at the airport on December 7 2019 and my friend who is a pilot asked a guy when it's completed and he said maybe March or April and Airbus aircrafts can land there

  11. What is going to be the Length of RPVZ after this renovation? I see its 1,200 meters but I was hoping this will be lengthened to at least accommodate an Airbus A320 / FA-50. American Private Pilot here.
